CHARLIE BELJAN: Survived a panic attack to win season-ending Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic. Ranked second on TOUR in driving distance and averaged TOUR-best 35 feet, 11 inches on approach shots from rough, bettering TOUR average by about 8 feet. Also ranked sixth in birdie percentage from rough.
JONAS BLIXT: Won 2012 Frys.com Open as a rookie. Was the second-best putter on TOUR last season, outperforming TOUR by average of +3.2 strokes per event. Was the best on TOUR from 5 to 10 feet, converting 184 of 285 attempts from that distance.
KEEGAN BRADLEY: WGC-Bridgestone Invitational champ ranked first in all-around category. In win at Firestone, outperformed field by +5.5 strokes with putter, converting six putts from beyond 10 feet on final day.
BEN CURTIS: Won for first time in 2,045 days with victory at Valero Texas Open. Went on to finish 31st in FedExCup standings, marking best finish since 2007 when he ended season ninth in standings. Ranked seventh in driving accuracy, 13th in greens in regulation, fourth in three-putt avoidance.
JASON DUFNER: Led or shared lead at the end of a round TOUR-best 13 times in 2012. Next best was Rory McIlroy with nine leads. After going winless in first 163 starts on TOUR both 2012 wins came in a three-start stretch (Zurich Classic of New Orleans to HP Byron Nelson Championship).
RICKIE FOWLER: Wells Fargo champion drastically improved accuracy off the tee in 2012. In 2011, ranked 157th on TOUR for driving accuracy and in 2012 improved to 48th on TOUR (second-largest improvement on TOUR).
TOMMY GAINEY: Had lowest score of 2012 season with final-round 60 to win The McGladrey Classic for first career victory. One of only three players to shoot 60 in final round of a PGA TOUR event.
BILL HAAS: 2011 FedExCup champ has at least one win each of last three seasons. One of seven players to accomplish this feat (2010-2012). Drained 43-footer to beat Phil Mickelson, Keegan Bradley in playoff at last year’s Northern Trust Open.
J.J. HENRY: Earned second career victory at Reno-Tahoe Open and first since 2006 Travelers Championship. After slow start with missed cuts in each of first five starts of 2012, finished with three top 10s, five top 25s in final 23 starts to finish 80th in FedExCup.
JOHN HUH: Rookie of the Year after winning in Mexico and becoming only rookie to qualify for TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola. Was also youngest player to qualify for TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola since Sergio Garcia did so at age 21 in 2001.
DUSTIN JOHNSON: Shaved about one stroke off of his 2011 scoring average in 2012. From 2011 to 2012 was most improved player in 3-putt avoidance, second-most improved on putts from 5 to 10 feet, third-most improved in scrambling and fifth-most improved in strokes gained-putting. Has ranked first or second in driving distance every year since 2008.
ZACH JOHNSON: Picked up eighth career TOUR win and second Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial title in 2012. Missed 27 greens that week and successfully salvaged par or better 21 times to lead field in scrambling. Also won John Deere Classic.
MATT KUCHAR: Last year’s PLAYERS champion has 29 top 10s -- most on TOUR -- since 2010. Ranked inside top 25 for scoring average in each of last four years and ranked inside top 15 in scrambling last season. Only player who has ranked inside top 15 for scrambling each of last six years.
MARC LEISHMAN: Won Travelers Championship after tying career-low with 62 in final round. One of seven players in 2012 to come from six or more shots back in final round.
HUNTER MAHAN: Finished inside top 30 of FedExCup standings for sixth consecutive season -- one of just three players to accomplish feat since start of FedExCup in 2007. One of six players with multiple victories in 2012.
GEORGE MCNEILL: Picked up second career win (first since 2007 Frys.com) at Puerto Rico Open in his 145th career start. Had six runner-up finishes on TOUR since his last win.
RYAN MOORE: Had arguably his best season on TOUR with one win (Shriners Hospitals for Children Open), four top 5s, eight top 10s and 11 top 25s in 24 starts. Finished career best 11th in FedExCup, reaching TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola for second time in last six years and first time since 2010.
IAN POULTER: Improved scoring average by over a stroke since 2010 season, moving from 131st two year ago to 29th in 2012. One of six players to not miss a putt from inside 3 feet, but missed TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola for third time in last four seasons.
CARL PETTERSSON: Finished 24th in FedExCup, marking first time he made top 30 since 2008 season when he finished 21st. Ended season third in strokes gained-putting and 19th in scoring average at 70.01, a career low.
SCOTT PIERCY: Had TOUR-leading 13 consecutive rounds in 60s at one point in 2012. Streak spanned three-plus events and led to a T12 at The Greenbrier Classic, third at John Deere Classic, win at RBC Canadian Open, T19 at WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
TED POTTER JR.: Won The Greenbrier Classic and in doing so became first player since 2007 to play final two holes of regulation in 3 under. Led field in putting that week by over two strokes per round and had one-putts on 36 of 72 holes while also converting 64 of 67 putts from inside 10 feet.
WEBB SIMPSON: U.S. Open champ was only player in field to card final two rounds in 60s en route to winning first career major. Ranked second on TOUR in birdie average and fourth in par-4 scoring. Also ranked 21st in overall scoring average.
BRANDT SNEDEKER: Won FedExCup after two wins in 2012 and seven top 10s in all, including one runner-up. During Playoffs, led all players with 14 sub-par rounds. Also ranked first for season in strokes gained-putting.
SCOTT STALLINGS: Converted four total eagles en route to victory at True South Classic. Since 1983 is just eighth winner to make four eagles in a tournament and first since Rocco Mediate at 2010 Frys.com Open. For the week, was second in driving distance (295 yards), seventh in proximity to hole (26 feet, 11 inches), seventh in scrambling (83 percent), and third for strokes gained-putting (+1.87).
KYLE STANLEY: Was an impressive 60-for-60 on putts inside 8 feet at TPC Scottsdale en route to his first career victory. It came week after blowing six-shot lead in final round at Farmers Insurance Open.
STEVE STRICKER: Had a win, three top 5s, seven top 10s en route to finishing inside the top 30 for sixth consecutive season of FedExCup. Ranked first in proximity to hole (32 feet, 1 inch) and approach shots inside 125 yards (14 feet, 8 inches). Average wedge approach (50-125 yards) landed about 4 feet closer to pin than TOUR average.
JOHNSON WAGNER: Got off to fast start in 2012 with three consecutive top 10s, which included 14 consecutive sub-par rounds en route to his career best FedExCup finish (36th). Streak of 14 consecutive sub-par rounds was second-best of season behind Chris Kirk with 17.
NICK WATNEY: Finished fifth in the FedExCup standings last year. It's the fourth consecutive year Watney has finished inside the top 15 in FedExCup points. Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson are the only other players who can match that feat.
BUBBA WATSON: Ranked first in driving distance in 2012. That's the seventh year in which he has ranked first or second in that category. Since 1980, only John Daly has finished in the top two more times (12).
MARK WILSON: He's historically a fast starter -- all five of Wilson's PGA TOUR wins have come in the first three months of the season. ... Wilson ranked 12th on TOUR in driving accuracy last year, the fifth consecutive year he has ranked inside the top 30 on TOUR in that category.
