LYTHAM ST. ANNES, England ?Tiger Woods eschewed a practice round on the day before the opening round of the Open Championship, but that didn뭪 mean he went without practice.
The three-time Open champion showed up to the Royal Lytham & St. Annes practice range just before 4 p.m. local time, taking a spot on the far left side under increasingly sunny skies and decreasingly breezy conditions.
Somewhat predictably, Woods appeared to be working on his low trajectory shots throughout the practice session, including his trademark 뱒tinger?off the tee.
밯e're looking forward to getting out there on Thursday,?Woods said Tuesday. 밫he golf course is soft for a links course, but certainly by no means soft. But we're making ball marks out there, which is unusual. But overall it's in great shape. They've done a great job of getting the golf course ready and prepared and it's going to be just a wonderful test.?/P>
Woods previously played practice rounds on the course Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
