Tiger Woods made a lot of noise in the final round at the Honda Classic.
Woods shot an 8-under 62 at PGA National to catapult into contention for his first PGA Tour win since the 2009 BMW Championship. With a birdie-eagle finish, Woods posted a 10-under 270. Leader Rory McIlroy was 12 under at the time.
Woods made eagle on both par-5 holes at the Champion Course, adding four other birdies in a bogey-free round.
The 62 was Woods’ best since the third round of that last official PGA Tour win in ’09.
