Position Description

This is a major Cloud deployment initiative within Banking Services Division. We need your skills and enthusiasm to join our Cloud and Microservices Technical Team.

Your future duties and responsibilities

You will be involved in analysing requirement to determine the best approach and technical design. utilizing CI/CS you will be driving the delivery the applications to the Cloud:

Design, implement and refactor code
Participate in design discussions
Design and build highly available and scalable software and infrastructure
Play a lead role in cloud development (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Expert in Java and the Spring framework (Springboot, MVC)
• Good knowledge of NodeJS, including Strongloop, PM2, Strong-PM, Forever, SystemD etc.
• Knowledge of service mesh concept and tooling: Linkerd, Envoy, Istio
• Hands-on knowledge of automation – CI/CD pipelines, A/B Testing
• Excellent knowledge of micro services architecture & development tools & frameworks
• Solid in Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure Or Cloud Foundry
• Good knowledge of Log aggregators such as Splunk, ElasticSearch
• Good Knowledge of at least one public cloud platform/technologies: Azure, Google
• Knowledge of most common software architecture & design patterns.
• Awareness of how scalable, enterprise-level software system is designed (both on code and infrastructure levels).
• Understanding of software release process (environments, binary repositories, CI/CD).
• Attention to details, high standards for quality.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with ability to build and foster relationships with business users, project stakeholders, strategic technology partners and external vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts and problem solve
• Lead technical discussions and drive solution build
